IIGFF6 submission deadline announced
The Executive Director of 6th International Green Film Festival (IIGFF6), Mehdi Tohidpour invited all interested artists to send their works to the secretariat of the festival until 21st May of 2017.
“We are trying to increase the number of festival’s halls around the country and hold this cultural event in more Iranian cities,” Tohidpour said.
He added ,both, the film and visual art sections will be held at the international sector of the IIGFF6.
Touching upon the successful presence of visual art section at IIGFF5, Tohidpour underscored that this section has been managed to convey the artist message for safeguarding the environment to the public, professionals and intellectuals.
He stressed that this cultural event is seeking to protect the environment and foster sustainable development by utilizing the art as a tool for promoting the culture of protecting the environment.
Tohidpour added several world managers who are active in green festivals would also attend in this edition of the festival.
Thanks to presence of Islamic Republic of Iran in several international environmental festivals including Italy, Portugal and France as well as Germany, he said the country has managed to gain credibility to hold this prestigious festival.
Tohidpour added the festival enjoys pre-eminent position among other green festivals in the Middle East and across the world.
